Engaging donors through personalised journeys.
Stichting Vluchteling, a nonprofit providing aid to refugees and displaced people worldwide, was already making use of Salesforce CRM for their marketing activities. However, they wanted to step up their customer journeys and start using marketing automation tools in the most effective manner.
The Nonprofit partnered up with us in order to create an engaging and personalised customer journey for their donors, that would simultaneously leverage the right data using Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
Due to our Marketing Cloud-based fundraising solution and our in-house tool, Novti, we had all the right knowledge and experience to help them on their way.
Personalised moments at each touchpoint.
We wanted to ensure that the donor would have personalised moments at each touchpoint. Therefore, we designed and developed engaging email templates for newsletters and single issue emails, ensuring the customer is addressed by name and put at the forefront of each interaction. We also created and established the right web forms, including web forms for donations, petitions, sign ups and contact.
To further increase personalisation, a virtual giving page was created as well as a preference page giving the donor the opportunity to customise opt-ins for various emails. Creating the right personalised journeys that would engage the donor at the right moment, was made possible through the use of the Journey Builder Marketing Cloud module.
In addition to our usual services within the ‘Online fundraising’ basic package, Stichting Vluchteling chose for an add-on which would ensure that a feedback tool would be available at the end of all emails. This would allow the donors to provide, and Stichting Vluchteling to receive, continuous feedback.
Finally, the Nonprofit participated in a customised training session we organised, tailored specifically to their needs. During the session we relayed necessary information for the organisation to be able to get the most out of their Salesforce and Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
Within a few months, the project was already live!
