A work culture to love.
“I started working at Growing Minds on the 1st of May 2016 and have loved working here ever since.”
With an extensive background in online and CRM marketing, Charlaine first started her journey at Growing Minds as an Online Campaigner. Though she liked her job, she knew after a while that she wanted to specialise further. This led her to become a Salesforce Marketing Cloud Consultant and having multiple certifications in the pocket! Within Growing Minds, she is the go-to person for questions about Marketing Cloud.
“At Growing Minds I am able to work for wonderful NGOs – to think along with campaigns that help make the world a little better. Growing Minds has been helping nonprofits since the very start and fortunately still is.” Charlaine points to this as one of the main reasons she chose to work for the agency.
But one of the things she loves the most about her job is the teamwork and the culture. “Together with enthusiastic, funny and sweet colleagues we work on campaigns for the best brands. Growing Minds has grown considerably in those 6 years since I started, but the culture has remained the same: cheerful, young, eager to learn and ambitious.”
Besides being a Marketing Cloud consultant within Growing Minds, Charlaine has a knack for organising fun events and is a member of the party committee. You’ll always find her there at ‘borrels’ or fun parties.
An appreciation for nature and “a young girl’s dream”.
Charlaine lives with her boyfriend in a little village in Amsterdam called Ransdorp. They don’t have any pets, but one day she hopes to adopt an old dog from the animal shelter and give it a warm place in her home.
Good to know: you’d probably want Charlaine on your team during a nature-themed trivia night. “I can become very excited talking to you about nature, birds, and actually all kinds of animals. I know all kinds of random trivia about nature and animals in The Netherlands.” Currently she is trying her best to become a vegetarian, and you can always make her happy with cheese and paprika chips.
Recently, Charlaine took an important step towards fulfilling a lifelong dream of hers, or as she calls it, “a young girl’s dream”: earning her Helicopter Pilot License. She started taking flying lessons last year, so hopefully she’ll soon be seeing the Dutch landscape from a bird’s eye view while flying solo in a helicopter!
